It is not only difficult but also complex to give an accurate definition of the term management. Different authors of management have their own view of management from several angles.
Management is the course of planning, organizing, staffing, directing and controlling the efforts of the people engaged in any organization in to attain predetermined objective. The appropriate and cost-effective use of wealth is called management. To achieve utmost quantity and quality in least resources is called management.

From the above definition we came to the points that management is not only the art of science but also the discount process of planning, organizing, foresting, and controlling the art of getting things done through by others.
